Thermes is the capital city of Finney in SaGa Frontier 2. It is ruled by members of the Eugene royal family, primarily Gustave XII, father to Gustave XIII. The right of succession for the throne is dictated by the traditional Firebrand Ceremony. Despite his exile for failing the Firebrand Ceremony, Gustave XIII eventually claims the throne for himself following his success at the "Battle of Buckethill (1248)". However, he steps down from the throne to his brother Philippe and departs from Thermes to construct his own city, Hahn Nova.
