Ingzan Yzaaka was an Ingzan colony, belonging to the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire. It was one of the first colonies to be founded by the Empire, it belonged to the Ingzan-owned part of space of the Empire. Conquered by the Ingza in 33,008 BBY after the Ingzan-Yzaakan War Ingzan Yzaaka became a symbol of Ingzan imperial prowess, how relatively few Ingzans could keep command of such a large native population, which greatly impressed their Bregaran allies, as well as the N'Akkiarlians, when they discovered them.

The "Yzaakan Empire", the nation which came before Ingzan Yzaaka was a pityful nation when the Ingza discovered it, a nation torn apart by civil war of rival Emperors and Empresses, which focused far more on slaughtering their enemies than on dealing with the problems of sanitation, starvation, famine, drought, thirst, diseases which swept across the land like an ocean of pain, suffering, death, killing many and disabling even more. When the Ingza colonised the Yzaaka they rose them out of the dirt and squalor, they improved public sanition, they made the crater-filled fields into healthy crop-producing fields they had been before the civil wars, they imported food and drink to feed and quench the thirst of the starved and thirsty, they brought advanced irrigation techniques which got rid of drought and developed advanced medicine to combat the waves of disease sweeping across Yzaaka. Many Yzaakans appreciated their new Ingzan masters because of this, they saw being a colony better than being free, they worshipped the Ingza.
