| - When a USO troop visiting a nearby unit arrives in camp due a barrage of artillery -- a comedian named "Fast Freddie" Nichols (Danny Dayton), a singer named Marina Ryan (Gail Edwards}, two musicians named Sarah Miller (Karen Landry) and Ellie Carlyle (Amanda McBroom), and Brandy. They ask if they can stick around and do a show, but Freddie says they're on a tight schedule and have to move on. But, after some prodding, Freddie agrees.

| - When a USO troop visiting a nearby unit arrives in camp due a barrage of artillery -- a comedian named "Fast Freddie" Nichols (Danny Dayton), a singer named Marina Ryan (Gail Edwards}, two musicians named Sarah Miller (Karen Landry) and Ellie Carlyle (Amanda McBroom), and Brandy. They ask if they can stick around and do a show, but Freddie says they're on a tight schedule and have to move on. But, after some prodding, Freddie agrees. Anyhow, back to Brandy; Colonel Potter, who remembers the venerable former vaudevillian entertainer and burlesuge-type stripper when she performed at the Gaiety Theatre in Kansas City during World War I, makes fast friends with her, as she begins to take a shine to him, as she confides in telling this to Margaret, who shares her tent with Brandy and tells her that Potter's a happily married man. this after she also that he also reminded her of her 3rd husband (She's had five!). After an impromptu USO performance for the wounded in OR, she and Potter, who's already had perhaps a few too many, retire to his tent for a nightcap, where she says to him that she wishes that she would have met him when they were younger, When Potter and Brandy share some martinis in his tent, just as soon as it looks like things might be heating up a bit, Potter passes out, asleep in his chair!Later,
