The Jubilee Line corruption trial was a trial which took place in the Old Bailey in London in the 1st decade of the 21st century. Six men were charged with attempting to bribe London Transport officials over contracts in relation to the extension to the Jubilee Line of the London Underground. The trial lasted around two years, but collapsed in 2005 after encountering a whole series of difficulties. The accused men were acquitted. It holds the record as the longest ever jury trial in the UK. However it was not widely publicised at the time because of reporting restrictions.
