The 212th Attack Battalion was a unit of clone troopers under the leadership of Clone Marshal Commander CC-2224, also known as "Cody". During the Battle of Adni-Rahn, the 212th worked with the 217th Legion. Two attacks were planned: the first being conducted by the 217th, and the second being conducted by the 212th. The 217th, however, had underestimated the amount of Separatist forces, and was unaware of Separatist leader Count Dooku's presence on the planet. Therefore, the legion retreated, and its commanders were unable to warn the Attack Battalion because the communications had been jammed.
