The Chalice of Kali was a receptacle used by the Thuggee which held the Blood of Kali, a concoction that made the drinker succumb to Black Sleep of the Kali Ma. In 1935, Thuggee High Priest Mola Ram used the chalice to force Indiana Jones into becoming an acolyte. Jones later noted in his journal that the chalice seemed to be a partially mummified human head with a spout of gold shaped into a tongue.
