David Meckler (born July 9, 1987 in Highland Park, Illinois) is an American left winger playing for the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League. He played Tier II Junior "A" for the Chicago Freeze and the Waterloo Black Hawks from 2002 to 2005. In 2005-06 Meckler played for Yale University and then switched the next season to the major junior London Knights. The Los Angeles Kings chose him 134th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Meckler signed a three-year entry-level contract in 2007. Since then he has played for the Monarchs.
