  • Below is a list of known slash commands in game.
  • The List of Slash Commands lists most of the commands available from the official interface. Here is a raw list of all slash commands in existence for the enUS client. A slash command generally takes the form: [optional text] For instance, one might wish to send an emote to the entire chat channel. One would then type something along the lines of: /em nods head and gazes around The above slash command, in some games, would send the string of text to the chat channel prefaced by the character name sending the command like so: nods head and gazes around
  • There are several so-called "slash commands" (or "client commands" or some times "chat commands") which lets the user quickly access special functions though the chat window. The typical usage of a slash command is /command argument
  • This is a reference for the WoW defined slash commands available for use in the WoW chat window, and as WoW macro commands in a macro. This list describes all of the 'slash' commands as recognized by World of Warcraft. See useful macros and user defined macros for other commands and macros. See slash commands (old) and list of slash commands (old) for the older lists. For full Macro API help, see Macro API.
  • Slash commands are words that you can type on the chat bar to teleport to different locations in the game or activate in-game functions. Slash commands provide a quick and easy way to move from one chatroom to another or move from island to island.
  • In City of Heroes and City of Villains, there are a number of commands that can be typed on the chat command line to execute various functions. These are known as slash commands, because they begin with a slash (/). Slash commands often have underscores within the name to improve legibility, but they are not needed to actually take effect, i.e. /PowExec_Name, /Pow_Exec_Name, /P_o_w_E_x_e_c_n_a_m_e all perform the same way. Almost every action taken in the game is a slash command bound to a key. The number 1 is "pow_exec_slot 1", which executes the power in slot 1 of your power tray. Some slash commands, such as the movement commands, should not be called from the chatbox without taking care and knowing what will occur. See List of Slash Commands for a list of known slash commands; see also
