The Sha'Kurian House of Lords is the ruling body of the Sha'Kurian Ducal Territories where the leaders of the Royal Families, known as Dukes, meet and maintain the status quo along with their individual family's power. Its considered similar to the Klingon High Council but lacks a central leader. Instead, decisions are handled through votes. The House of Lords serves as both an impartial arbiter as well as a conventional political body for the Sha'Kurian people by presiding over internal conflicts to ensure that they follow the Rules of War.
