Guaranteed to remove a level not allowed and to never cause the PC to lose any XP. Your XP stays the same but your forced to relevel if you pick an unallowed class. Upon choosing a restricted class the new level is removed but the xp will be the same. A floaty text explains you have chosen an improper class for whatever caused the class to be removed. Then your new level is again rewarded to you to do over. Here's the script.. in all its usefulness. Code 100% by me, all 379 lines of it.. and guaranteed to work perfectly.
