Degenerates, rarely referred to as Gen-Pop, are the primary inhabitants of Holy Cross Daycare, taking up nearly 95% of the student population. The species coexists with Daybarians, which make up the remainder of Daycare's population. Degenerates are notably distinct from Daybarians by their lower average-intelligence, tendencies to be more reckless and less organized in their schemes, and lower quality memes. Though extremely rare, Daybarian-degenerate hybrids have been known to exist, such as Kenny and Mazella.

| - Degenerates, rarely referred to as Gen-Pop, are the primary inhabitants of Holy Cross Daycare, taking up nearly 95% of the student population. The species coexists with Daybarians, which make up the remainder of Daycare's population. Degenerates are notably distinct from Daybarians by their lower average-intelligence, tendencies to be more reckless and less organized in their schemes, and lower quality memes. The relationship between Daybare and the degenerates is complex: some degenerates are looked down upon by Daybarians while others are powerful allies. A good example of this is the Degenerate Wing offshoot-branch of the Wilmot Agency, who collaborated with them together in Electromagnetic Vibe. Though Daybarians and degenerates are typically naturally separated by the existence of honors classes, cultural interaction can occur during lunch, study-hall, extra-curricular activities, and universal classes such as Jermaineology. Though extremely rare, Daybarian-degenerate hybrids have been known to exist, such as Kenny and Mazella.
