An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Tahiti Division Fédérale is the top division of the Fédération Tahitienne de Football in French Polynesia. The initial season involves ten teams playing each other twice. The top six teams then enter the 'Play-Offs' along with the Champions from other French Polynesian islands: 'Moorea', 'Marquesas Islands', 'Austral Islands', 'Tuamoto' and 'Leeward Islands' in order to determine the overall Champions and the team that will enter the Champions League. The bottom four teams enter the 'Play-In' along with the top four teams from the Tahitian Second Division which determines whether the teams will remain in the top division or whether they will be relegated to the second division. Due to the regular withdrawals and exclusions of teams the league system doesn't always work out correctly.
