As if Locust Drones weren't bad enough, Boomers are bigger, tougher and carry the Boomshot grenade launcher. Named for their monotone battle cry "Boom!" They exist in a state of perpetual hunger; it is this insatiable need for sustenance that drives them. Boomers never stop hunting and killing and the only time a Gear will see a Boomer lie down is when it is dead. What they lack in brains, they more than make up for in brawn... and explosive weaponry.
