| - As he ran through the leaves as quickly as he possibly could, Raion could feel a loud beating sound. He soon realized it was his own heart; pounding louder than the creature-behind-him's footsteps. He was a rather large hybrid with strong muscles, but he was scared of many things similar to that of a small cub. Raion accepted that, but he admitted long ago that it got out of hand many times. After a long while of constant running, he realized that the footsteps behind him were his own, and the creature had stopped following him. After a long while of constant running, he realized that the footsteps behind him were his own, and the creature had stopped following him. Finally, he sighed in relief, sweat pouring from his paw-pads. Wait. . . what's that? He spotted a rustling bush, no, two rustling bushes in front of him; maybe a fox-length away. BOOM! Raion held his breath when a black figure lunged at him; feeling their claws gouging into his chest. His eyes shut tight in pain, making him unable to identify this anonymous opponent. Once the creature relaxed their grip on his chest, his eyes opened. It turned out to be a small female cougar, pretty much half his size. "What are you doing on the Rebellion's territory?" she bellowed at him, swiftly hopping off. Raion hesitated to answer when her tail rose, causing three other species to appear. Wolf, tiger, and african golden cat, he thought to himself. "Don't make me repeat myself," the cougar said to him. The white tiger padded up to her side, his tail lashing. His nose touched her ear, then his deep voice whispered something to her. Raion could barely make out what he was saying. When the tiger backed away, the cougar growled aggressively. "WELL?" Raion finally spat out the words: "I-I didn't know it was yours!" The three large figures in the back smirked, but the cougar just smiled. Raion, terrified, shivered as she examined him. "I'll give you a choice: if you'd like to live, join the Rebellion. If not, we will kill you for trespassing." Raion was already part of a small group, but that had no chance of becoming a large clan. "I-I will join you." The cougar smiled and introduced herself. "Good. I am Ebony, we will chat more along the way to camp."
