News spreading from HAWK'S AERIE claims that officers of the Imperial Tribunal may have conducted a dawn-raid upon the homestead of one Eldin Mikin, suspected of plotting against the citizens of the Empire and the Imperial Law, and arrested on charges of treason. Though the Imperial Tribunal are loathe to spread rumors, a few leaks seem to suggest that Baron Eldin Mikin is one of a small group of wayward Nobles and Freelanders attempting to incite anti-Mage sentiments and provoke citizens into rising up against Marked Mages and those that support them - including the Imperial Crown.

It is said that a substantial amount of evidence was retrieved from Baron Eldin's country house, most of it being a number of letters written by his hand or received by other conspirators who, unbelievably, signed the documents with their own names. Baron Eldin Mikin's fate is currently unknown, but it is believed that - given the amount of evidence of guilt and intent - the process of High-Justice will be bypassed for a direct verdict from the Crown Regent. The Imperial Watch are said to be currently rounding up co-conspirators.
