The Nommon's Game is mainly played using the Ball Hop technique. In this game, Mario and Luigi must bounce over all of the rings in a certain amount of steps. They have a certain amount of lives (three on the first game and six on the second) to get through all of the rings in all three rounds. However, there is a number of hazards. Mario and Luigi must avoid bouncing on the same tile twice or they will fall through and lose a life. They must also avoid landing on the Nommons that sometimes appear on the board.
