About: The Askurri   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

The Askurri, or, as they were called before First Contact, Kurra, are a race of short bipedal creatures. The Askurri are the only sentient species in their native system. Upon coming into contact with samples of Arrq D.N.A, the Kurra began exhibiting slight ability to excrete and interpret pheremones. Though scientists are still trying to determine the exact reason for the integration and the most common theory is that it had something to do with the Arrq proclivity for domination, some radicals have evidence that it is in fact an unknown ability of the Askurri to integrate useful strands of D.N.A into their body. This theory has few supporters, but does fit the known facts.
