An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Dævas are a race of supernatural beings appearing in both Zoroastrianism (as Daeva) and vedic religion (as -deva). Although there is clearly a linguistic relation, the thematic differences between these two appearances are considerable; Despite their apparent linguistical and thematic similarity, there seems to be no relation between the words Daeva and Devil, the latter of which instead evolved from the greek term Diabolos, "slanderer".
