In certain circumstances, a Floating Fortress' Wave-Force Tri-Cannons needed the support of Radar Boats in the area in order to track and attack long range targets. Allied intel discovered that if these are destroyed, then the main guns of the Fortress will be crippled. Thus, during an assault on a Fortress in the North Sea, a joint Allied-Soviet taskforce led by commandos Natasha and Tanya destroyed the boats (which were stationed near two Imperial island outposts near the main Fortress), allowing MCVs and the main strike force to enter the area.
