The Rev. Edward Adair Midwinter (1846-2 December 1912) was a Church of England clergyman and a local politician active in the Paddington and Marylebone areas. After studying at Oxford, he was ordained a priest, holding a curacy in Hampshire, his native county. He moved to the London area as curate at Christ Church, Harrow Road. In 1880 he was appointed vicar of St Paul's, Lisson Grove. He became Rural Dean of Marylebone shortly before his death. He was a member of Paddington Vestry, and later of St Marylebone Borough Council. He was Mayor of St Marylebone in 1909-10.
