This highly popular, pecular egyptian drink is made from dried petals of red hibiscus flower after soaking for 2 hours, bringing to a boil, straining and repeating all over again by adding additional cold water, till the colour of petals fades. Add sugar and serve chilled or hot. Available in parlours and supermarkets.
