Albert Ross Eckler, Jr. (29 August 1927 - 9 December 2016) was a logologist, statistician, and author. He was also the gerontology consultant for Guinness World Records in the 1970s-early 1990s period (circa 1974-1991). His father, A. Ross Eckler, Sr.. (1901-1991), was the Director of the U.S. Census Bureau, 1965-1969.
