Dr. Bill Hoesch was familiar with the legends of the Starkindler, and taught them to Timothy Sinclair. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "Diluvium") Long-thought to be mere myth, the Starkindler was discovered by Timothy Sinclair, Vash and a Federation archaeological team in 2385. Following its discovery, Sinclair theorized that the Tkon had transported stars from the Geminus Gulf, due to the similar harmonic resonance of the subspace hyperstrings in that region and known Tkon systems.
