The Coalsack System is a star system made up of three planets. Eight million colonists went to the system to settle the planets. The most populous of the colonized worlds was Coalsack 3. However, shortly after colonization, the Necromonger Empire arrived and took over the planets with ease. When they had defeated the colonists, the Necromongers left imposing Conquest Icons on the destroyed worlds. It is unknown how many settlers died and how many surrendered to the Necromongers and became converts.
