Daisy Hill is a small town next to Westhoughton. There is a Hill which is called Eatock Hill. Daisy Hill has it own primary school call St James' Primary School, which is also known as Daisy Hill. It has another primary called Eatock Primary School. Daisy Hill is very small and really has nothing to do for the youths. With its own football team and cricket team The community are brought together to celebrate the commonwealth every summer. St James Church has a wonderful continental style reredos over the high altar and a delightful two manual organ built by Richardsons.

The Daisy Hill Hotel in the centre of the old village is nicknamed the "Blue Lion" by locals, but looking at the census of 1800, was originally called the "Blue Lion".
