Produced during the 1950s, this yo-yo is #670 in Lucky's Collectors Guide to 20th Century Yo-Yos. Note that Hi-Ker owned the rights to the name "Flat-Top" which forced Duncan to choose a different name for its reversed-half model. They switched to "Butterfly," a name that became the standard for the form, while the use of "Flat-Top" faded into obscurity. Original Duncan "Flat-Top" models are very rare and highly sought after by yo-yo collectors.
