In addition, the character becomes multiclassed as a swordmage. The character counts as a swordmage, in addition to his or her original class, for the purpose of meeting prerequisites for feats, paragon paths, etc.[U:1/2009] The January 2009 update added proficiency with swordmage implements to Blade Initiate.
