Immortality Quester is the term used to describe supernaturals who pursue the science of alchemy. (More specifically in alchemy, to find the elixr of life, rather than to turn metals to gold.) The term is first used in Industrial Magic, in reference to Edward and Natasha. Pursuing immortality is said to be more common amoung supernaturals as opposed to non-supernaturals, because supernaturals already know of things such as vampires (who already have semi-immortality), and werewolves (who have prolonged youth), so full immortality seems more plausible to exist to them. All the known Immortality Questers are vampires, so it may be that most Immortality Questers are vampires.
