Blachumor is one of the four humors that brings about life. It is the most abundant material in the universe, making up the chains of creation. In liquid form, which without extreme heat cannot be sustained in such small quantities as in a single chain, it is the most potent incendiary known to humankind. It is a key ingredient in Far, Near, and DIstant Bombs. It makes up the body of Tallmen, and Lychgates. It is what humans call venom, and is key to making homunculi. Humans have a small amount of it in their bodies (namely the boiling blood in bellies - it is heated by the mere presence of blachumor), but it is so admixed with other liquids (i.e. blood) that it loses its explosive potency, and is merely somewhat flammable.
