Savoie finished his career with one reception for 14 yards. He and Tommy Hodson are the only players in the history of Lafourche Parish to play for their hometown high school, LSU and the Saints. He is probably better known for marrying Angelle Seeling, NHRA Pro Stock Bike Champion, and assaulting her at gunpoint.
