The Kearney Hub announced on June 3, 2009 that Kirk Brooks, the new owner of the facility, is drawing up plans to renovate portions of the building and build a 9000 sq ft addition that would include new locker rooms, a weight room, a workout facility and other amenities. The projected cost of the renovations would be between $1 million and $1.3 million.
