Majungasaurus (meaning "Mahajanga lizard") was a genus of large theropod dinosaur that lived near the end of the Cretaceous period, approximately 70 million years ago. Majungasaurus appeared in the first episode "Cannibal Dinosaur" and later in the final episode "Armageddon" and the episode Biggest Killers (episode).

Other abelisaurids have different features, its larger cousin Carnotaurus had two large brow horns on its head while some others like Rugops or Abelisaurus lack the odd features on their skulls. It also had more teeth in both the upper and lower jaws than most abelisaurids.

Größe: Er wurde 6 bis 8 m lang,wog 1 bis 1,5 t und hatte eine Schulterhöhe von 2m.Meine Überlegung ist aber,dass Majungasaurus eine Länge bis zu 13 Metern erreichen konnte und die fossielen Überreste lediglich von nicht ausgewachsenen Exemplaren waren,denn in der Kreidezeit war es äußerst von Nachteil,wenn man nicht mit den anderen Fleischfressern mithalten konnte.Er wäre wie ein T-Rex,bloß in viel kleiner gewesen.Er hätte keine extreme Geschwindigkeit und auch keine sehr langen und scharfen Krallen auf seiner Seite gehabt,wie die Raptoren.Er musste ein T-Rex-ähnliches Tier mit enormer Größe gewesen sein.

Schädel: Majungasaurus besaß einen kurzen,sehr kräftigen Schädel.Speziell an diesem Schädel saß ein Horn.Eventuell wurden mit seiner Hilfe Kämpfe unter männlichen Artgenossen durchgeführt,um die Gunst der Weibchen zu erhalten. Alter: Er wurde bis zu 100 Jahre alt. Lebensraum: Er lebte in der Steppe des heutigen Madagaskars.

Known from several well-preserved skulls and abundant skeletal material, Majungasaurus has recently become one of the best-studied theropod dinosaurs from the Southern Hemisphere. It appears to be most closely related to abelisaurids from India rather than South America or continental Africa, a fact which has important biogeographical implications. Majungasaurus was the apex predator in its ecosystem, mainly preying on sauropods like Rapetosaurus, and is also one of the few dinosaurs for which there is direct evidence of cannibalism.

Otros datos: Foolscap lo activo y peleo contra Gabu, Ace y Paris, aunque ellos no eran tan fuertes como el, pero Gabu lo derroto con su Ancla de Plasma.Es el tercer dinosaurio que aparece en la segunda temporada,Foolscap lo tuvo mas de treinta años y esta fue la primera vez que lo activo.
