He saw their raw destructive power and, wishing to test them, sent five to eliminate a Republic convoy over Bespin. The raid was successful and the Empire suffered no casualties despite facing and enemy fleet consisting of at least ten Nebula-class star destroyers. They were used until the Republic launched a desperate attack on their hidden shipyards, ending their production.
