| - Jake's family follow a rota, having a specific meal or family of meals depending on the day of the week. The meals or days will be rated out of ten, with 5 being the average. They usually go as follows. - Sunday A traditional Sunday lunch comprised of one of four meats. They are as follows, in order of preference, not in rota order (this varies from month to month) - Lamb - 10/10 The best of the meats, easily a "worth getting up for" meat, meaning that Jake will be sure to get up for an hour before 12, an hour before the meal is served fresh, allowing Jake to gain his appetite in this period, instead of having to microwave the meal to heat it up at a later time, which is obviously not as worthwhile. For lamb and chicken, the superiority of the meat outweighs the effort of waking up before 12. - Chicken - 9/10 Chicken, the second best of the meats is tasty and is the only other "worth getting up for" meat. This meat is an anomaly in that it is the only meat that will usually have leftovers for a later period of time. - Beef - 6/10 A mediocre meat with no matching sauce (other than mustard, which is not enjoyed), unlike lamb and chicken, which are complimented by mint sauce, improving the meal substantially. As a result, and due to the taste of the meat itself, this meat is not worth specifically waking up before 12 for. - Pork - 5/10 The worst of the meats, though is complimented with apple sauce, making it enjoyable to an extent. Another meat not worth waking up for. Sunday is notable for being the only day of the week where the midday meal, or "lunch" is the only meal of the day. Due to the size of the meal, Jake is usually satisfied at the normal time of dinner, 5pm, and thus will not indulge in another meal until much later. See below. - Awesomesandwich - 8/10 Due to the close proximity Sunday has to shopping day (Friday, rarely Thursday), the fridge is bountiful with multiple meats and cheeses. When combined for a midnight snack, these create an "awesomesandwich", creating the best possible sandwich of the week. This is further amplified if the Sunday lunch's meat was in fact, chicken, the only meat the Stevenson family have left over from lunch. In this case, the sandwich becomes a "chicken-powered awesomesandwich", which is of course rare, happing once a month. - Monday - 7/10 "Chips" day, meaning a generic oven based meal with chips. Found with something from the freezer. The legendary favourite meal of Jake's, "tuna pasta bake" is rarely found on Monday. - Tuesday Another day where a "Sunday lunch" is served, for dinner. However, the meats found with these dinners are usually substandard in comparison to the exquisite meats found in Sunday lunches. They are as follows, in order of preference, not in rota order (this varies from month to month) - Stewing steak - 8/10 The best of the usual Tuesday dinner meats, this features a normal dinner with stewing steak and stewing steak gravy, which increases the taste of the accompanying mashed potatoes tenfold. - Meat pie - 8/10 Meat pie, a very rare accompaniment to the Tuesday dinner is a favoured meat, possibly due to it's extreme rarity. - Chicken chasseur - 5/10 The unpreferred brother of the superior "chicken", this meat is served as a couple of chicken breasts, unchopped up (changing the texture of the chicken entirely), and cooked in a "chasseur" sauce, one of which is not enjoyed by Jake. - Sausages - 4/10 What seems to be the most common of Tuesday dinner meats, this consists of a generic Sunday lunch with two or three sausages accompanying it. For some reason, this decreases the quality of the meal substantially. - Shepherd's pie - 3/10 Rarer than the other below-average meats, this meal not only features a meal that is not particularly enjoyed, but a harmless bystander, the great "mashed potatoes" is also ruined, as it is grouped with the underlying mincemeat. Not enjoyed. - Wednesday - 7/10 An almost carbon-copy of Monday, with the exception that "tuna pasta bake" is never found on this day. Consists of a meal with something from the freezer, and chips. - Thursday - 10/10 Thursday almost certainly consists of the meal "barbecued chicken + Saturday can consists of the legendary r
