Alan Peter Duggan (Born July 17, 1923) is a former Conservative member of the Georgeland House of Commons. He served a total of 39 years, from his first election in 1955 to his retirement in 1994. From 1991 to 1994 he was longest-serving MP and Father of the House. Duggan never held a ministerial portfolio, though from 1965 to 1970 he was a Parliamentary Secretary and from 1970 to 1977 a Shadow Minister.
