Officers of the Imperial Watch, investigating various leads as part of Tribunal's operations against Baron Eldin Mikin's ring of conspirators in FREEHAVEN, have reportedly located one Baron Teivel Seamel, wanted both as the second ringleader, and for charges of murder. The Imperial Watch are treating this as an assassination, as it appears the cause of death was a single deep gash through the heart. Rumors also suggest that the deceased Noble's right hand was also missing from his corpse, and has not yet been located.

  • Officers of the Imperial Watch, investigating various leads as part of Tribunal's operations against Baron Eldin Mikin's ring of conspirators in FREEHAVEN, have reportedly located one Baron Teivel Seamel, wanted both as the second ringleader, and for charges of murder. However, it appears that Baron Teivel Seamel - believed to be brother of the murdered Reina Seamel - will be of little use to the Imperial Tribunal's investigation, as the Noble was found dead in a private Tavern room, identified only by his personal belongings and a number of documents with both his name on them, and the names of other members of the conspiratorial group. The Imperial Watch are treating this as an assassination, as it appears the cause of death was a single deep gash through the heart. Rumors also suggest that the deceased Noble's right hand was also missing from his corpse, and has not yet been located. Though assassinations are akin to murder in Fastheld, no matter how 'honorable' the intent behind them may have been, it is doubtful that anyone within the Tribunal will be too upset about the fate of the assassinated Seamel - after all, given the serious nature of both the murder and the treason charges, it is likely that the assassin merely did the Tribunal's ultimate work for them. Neither House Seamel nor House Mikin have issued statements relating to the events, though it is unlikely that either House will be held accountable for the actions of two relatively unknown Barons.
