However, all standard uses of recorded Swift Release had been applied only to taijutsu. Usually Swift users were known as great nintaijutsu users, similar to the LRA or WRA styles then the traditional styles of the Lightning and Wind elements that make it up. Uzume sought to be able to use Swift Release on a large scale, and thus, invented the Velocity Art, applying the kinetic energy generated by Swift Release to various objects, substances and chakra itself for varying purposes at usually intense degrees. This was followed by techniques that caused particles of the air to move so fast they combust in brilliant flashes. By using the velocity art as a base, she even applied it herself, taking the traditional Swift Release: Shadowless Flight to another level. Velocity Art allows Uzume to control the speeds of things for varying purposes. It also allows her to use chakra to steal kinetic energy, empowering herself without using her own chakra much. Using this method, it is theorized she could destroy objects bringing them to absolute zero. This ability to steal kinetic energy for her speed-based powers seems to have been inspired by training with Kachū. At first Uzume coined the name to using kinetic energy outwardly, but later the name of Velocity Art would refer to the use of Swift Release and yang release together, the latter augmenting the power of swift.
