About: Orc god (MM2)   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Orc gods are monsters in Might and Magic II: Gates to Another World. They are rare monsters that tend to only appear in the Desert of Desolation and Square Lave Cavern. Orc gods are notable for their incredible endurance: they have far more hit points than any other type of creature in the game except for the mega dragon. Since they can neither attack multiple party members at once nor eradicate any of them, orc gods are generally less dangerous than some other monsters that can be encountered late in the game. As long as the player's party outnumber any orc gods encountered and can keep healing any fallen comrades, they should be able to survive the battle.

Orc gods possess elemental immunities, but can be harmed by any attack or non-elemental spell. The Mass Distortion spell, which will always work on orc gods, is very useful for bringing down their hit points.
