The introduction of the PS120 marked Stanley's return to Ibanez. Stanley had previously been an Ibanez endorser since the 1970's and is closely associated with the Iceman body style. The PS120 features a mahogany body with bound maple top, a set-in neck with bound ebony fingerboard and block inlays, a fixed bridge and dual Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups with individual volume knobs. The PS40 which was introduced concurrently is a mass-market version of this model. The PS120L is a left-handed version.
