She conducts herself as the ultimate professional on the job, and as a steel-edged maiden while off-duty, but this is just a front to mask her true personality. Once, she held a deep compassion for life that would earn the respect of any Autobot. However, after years of serving with her ruthless and combative siblings, she has grown rather cold to anyone outside her limited social circle. While she tries to appear as outgoing, she is actually somewhat anti-social, finding true acceptance only with the other members of The Swarm. When she feels rejected, or just wants to be alone, she takes solace in tinkering with various gadgets. Her skill in engineering and medical work are what have earned her a place in The Swarm's upper ranks, and their tight social bonds. In both modes, she is adept at locating fuels and resources, and she can utilize her needle in Mosquito mode to extract liquid fuels and store it in a near-bottomless subspace containment system. She can also turn this ability on other Transformers, leaving them weak and disoriented. She uses her needle as a rapier in robot mode, and carries several ballistic weapons to back up her swordplay skills. Her Mosquito form can attain faster-than-light speeds, and is equipped with stealth technology, allowing her to operate as a scout should the need arise.
