Joseph Gartshore Kissock spent just one season at Rovers, making 18 League appearances without scoring during the 1921–22 season. Joe joined the club as a defender in the summer of 1921 from Bury, in time to play in Rovers' second Football League season and their first in Division Three (South). He had been little more than a reserve player at Bury, and although he got more first team action with The Pirates, he still played in less than half their games that season. He left after one year, and returned to his native Scotland to join Peebles Rovers.
