  • The Church of the Resurrection (Russ. Церковь Воскресения, Finn. Ylösnousemuksenkirkko) is a massive ecumenical Christian church in Pazhga, Uralica, the third largest non-stadium building by volume in the nation after the Uralican World Trade Centre and the Filharmonia, both in Syktyvkar. Since it is situated in Pazhga, Mennoland, the predominant Sunday user of the church is the Uralican Mennonite Brotherhood, who have a Sunday morning service there. However, it is also the headquarters of the Uralican Evangelical Baptist Church, who use it on Saturdays for both morning and night services, and it is used by the Uralican Orthodox Church on Sunday nights, and during religious holidays of the Orthodox Calendar. The beautiful, Post-Neo-Gothic church was built in September of 2009, and Pazhga was chosen for its location as it is considered the most religious major centre in Uralica, with the headquarters of the Uralican Evangelical Baptist Fellowship, the Uralican Orthodox Church, the Uralican Mennonite Brotherhood, and the Uralican Lutheran Council all being situated within the city. It is a departure from most Uralican churches, which tend to be small in size and large in quantity, because it could legally hold the entire population of Pazhga within its walls. It possesses magnificent stained-glass windows depicting the traditional Passion - betrayal and trial on one side, flogging and Crucifixion on the other, and a glorious central window portraying a resurrected Jesus in glory. The first service held in it was on Sunday, 27 September, an ecumenical service bringing together all major Christian denominations in what Jarkko Salomäki called "an absolutely heavenly time of worship and prayer," which saw the church fill beyond capacity, with projection screens having to be brought out so that people could sit in the courtyard and follow along.
