| - Long ago, a number of decades before the Sundering, a baby in a basket was brought by an unknown shady figure to the Temple of the Moon in Suramar. The figure let a note on the basket indicating her name, Ilaana, but no family name. In the deep night, a Priestess came out of the temple to gather more water for the Moonwell when she stumbled upon the basket. And this is everything Ilaana ever knew about her parents. The Priestess took Ilaana inside the temple and together with her sisters, they raised Ilaana. The Priestess' were a bit surprised that each night, the girl watched into the sky and towards the white lady. And as of such, Ilaana was given the family name Moonwatcher. Over the years, Ilaana grew into a young initiate for the Temple of the Moon. Her duties weren't special, but they had to be done. Gathering water from the moonwell and tending to the sick. One day, she was asked to travel outside of Suramar and towards a village in the Hyjal Mountains in the western part of their Empire. It would be the last time that Ilaana entered Suramar for when she reached Hyjal, word reached that the Sundering had taken place. Ilaana then stayed in Hyjal and tended to the many refugees together with the rest of the Sisterhood. Eventually though, she too was asked to fight against the demons and became something of a Battle-Priestess for the old Night Elf army. After the demons had been cast away, Ilaana wend to the village of Astranaar and decided to make it her new home serving as a Priestess and a part-time Sentinel when demon remnants were found. It was here that she met Thalyn, a Druid apprentice which she eventually took as her life mate. For the next few thousand years, they lived peacefully. Until the Silith came. Ilaana and Thalyn were both called to help against the insects in the War of the Shifting Sands. There they served in their respective roles, Thalyn as a Druid mending nature, and Ilaana as a Sentinel and Priestess. They both survived the war and were asked to stay in Silithus with a number of others as a forward post. Even though Silithus wasn't as nice as Ashenvale, they both made the best of it and led peaceful lives in the small village. It wasn't till about 200 years ago that Thalyn died when he was trapped by the insects and Ilaana became pregnant just after this traumatic event. She eventually gave birth to a girl and named her Celegil. Ilaana raised Celegil to become a Priestess like her but it soon became clear that the girl had absolutely no interest of becoming on. She rather explored the surroundings of the village, making her mother frightened. Though Ilaana really wanted to push her daughter to become a Priestess, she didn't had the chance because one day the village was attacked by a horde of insects and Ilaana and Celegil lost sight of each other. Celegil, thinking her mother was dead, set off with a cartographer and a baby that she had saved from a collapsed building to Astranaar. There, Celegil was adopted into the community and became a simple commoner. She wasn't really sure what she wanted to become so until she knew, she kept herself busy with telling stories and making clothes. Eventually she met Kalion, a Druid with which she had a short but intense relation. Sadly, Kalion was called away to the Dream and thus they were separated. Celegil stayed behind alone and decided she no longer wanted to stay in Astranaar and became an Outrunner in the Sentinels, the lowest rank available. She set out to explore Kalimdor and wandered the continent for almost an entire century until word reached her that the demons had returned. Together with her sisters she fought at Mount Hyjal which gained her the Sentinel rank. After the war, Celegil settled down in Ashenvale again, guarding the forest against the new Orcish threat. During this time, she met another Druid, Malreas, who made her pregnant. Both of them where overjoyed with the arrival of the baby boy which they named Kailahan. Sadly though, Malreas got tainted with fell energy and became hungry for more power and fell in the same pit that many Demon Hunters before him had fallen into. Celegil eventually distanced herself from him and Malreas did the same. Though she wasn't happy that Malreas had turned crazy, she was happy enough with just her and Kailahan. She also rediscovered her mother was alive and thus things weren't all bad. Present day, she combines her duty as a mother with her duty as a Sentinel and does this with the help of her son's Shando, Salabadon Starfire.
