| - In charge of Woodzone, Mobius' most crime-free Zone, the Zone Leader was proud of his position and made sure everyone knew how safe his village was. The walrus appeared so confident that he outlawed heroes, preferring to allow his police force to tackle any threats. With heroes like Tails no longer allowed to trespass in the Zone, the Zone Leader was able to continue with his true plan. The walrus established contact with Grimer, who had taken control of Metropolis City High Security Prison, and made a deal with the villain that involved the Woodzone Leader receiving the technology to build a Badnik Processing Plant. In return, the walrus would create a fleet of new Badniks that would be able to take over Mobius should Doctor Robotnik return. Things began well, with the ban on heroism preventing villagers from acting when their friends were carried into the woods. However, Tails returned to the Zone in the guise of a village idiot and was soon captured and taken to be processed. Inside, Tails accidentally revealed too much knowledge about the facility, alerting the Zone Leader to Tails' presence. The walrus ordered his new Badniks to kill Tails but was found out by his citizens when one of the Badniks punched Tails through a wall, exposing his operations to everyone. Tails was able to rescue the crook when a Badnik destroyed the Processing Plant, whilst a citizen tied him to a tree until the police arrived. Despite his failure, the walrus refused to refeal Grimer's involvement.
