Talent Associates was a TV production company founded by David Susskind and Leonard Stern in the early 1950s. It's probably best known now for producing Get Smart, as well as co-producing McMillan and Wife. Was briefly owned by California tomato king Norton Simon in the 1970s, but eventually ended up sold to Time-Life Films in 1977. When TLF closed in 1982, the TA shows (including Get Smart) ended up at its sister company HBO.

Was briefly owned by California tomato king Norton Simon in the 1970s, but eventually ended up sold to Time-Life Films in 1977. When TLF closed in 1982, the TA shows (including Get Smart) ended up at its sister company HBO. TA also operated a record label between 1969 and 1970. TA Records is best remembered for releaseing the first two albums by Seals & Crofts, a soft-rock duo who became major stars after switching labels to Warner Bros.
