Bedonde(VBBM094) was born in December 2013 in the Baobab. His mother was Amarula, the dominant female, and his father was an unknown rover. His litter-mates were Bandy Borehole(VBBM091), Beans(VBBM092), and Bernard(VBBF093). They were Amarula's first surviving litter. All four of them survived their first month and started foraging with the adults. It wasn't long before Amurula had another litter. By then, Bedonde and his siblings could care for themselves. Bedonde went roving for the first time at just eleven months of age. A month later, Bedonde reached adulthood along with his brothers and sister. In May 2015, Bedonde left the group along with four other Baobab males.
