The Tuclamekla is a Tsurani family that dominates the Hunzan clan. Due to the influence of the clan, they are the dominant family of the Party for Progress. One of the sons of the family was an artist who helped worked on the murals for Milamber's home. Milamber's discussions with him about the differences between Tsurani and Kingdom cultures and social values, which stemmed from their discussions about styles of art, was used by the family to introduce a motion to the High Council. The motion was to reform land taxes and abolish debt slavery.
