Hans-Peder Juel is a Kazulian politician and the inaugural leader of the Folkepartiet. A history and religion teacher at a Luthoran secondary school in rural Dreton, Mr Juel entered politics when he and several associates founded the Folkepartiet to create a multi-denominational, more centrist Hosian Democratic party next to the existing Selucianist Democrats, whose leader Gustav Westerberg courted scandal by what many perceived as the political persecution of the previous Labour government.
