Morgan Crofton (born 1826 in Dublin, Ireland, died in 1915 in Brighton, England) was a mathematician who contributed to the field of geometric probability theory. He also worked with James Joseph Sylvester and contributed an article in the Encyclopædia Britannica on probability. Crofton's formula is named in his honour.
