Slurm has an active marketing campaign similar to the leading soft drinks of today. The campaign was fronted by Slurms McKenzie until his tragic death. The campaign uses an instrumental version of 'I've Got a Tan' by The Four Postmen. The Slurm posters seen throughout the episodes acted as one of the first clues to deciphering the Alien Language and have been compared to the Rosetta Stone by fans. Slurm also acts as a sponsor for two ladies competing in the Butterfly Derby. Slurm is made on the planet Wormulon.
